Welcome To Our Pack Page!
Pack 101 is located in Reseda, California, in the heart of the San Fernando Valley. We have three groups of cub scouts that meet with us: Wolves, Bears and Webelos.

Our Den meetings are always held on Tuesday evenings from 7:00pm till 8:15pm. We have a Pack Meeting on the 4th Wedsnesday of every month, to give out awards and recognize our scouts hard work!

Everyone is welcome!

PURPOSES of SCOUTING
The LDS Church modifies the Cub Scouting program marginally, in order to accomodate the Primary Program age groups.

Cub Scouting is a program of the Boy Scouts of America, and members of the LDS Packs are ages 8, 9 and 10 years old. If we are doing our job as parents as leaders correctly, then the scouting experience will be FUN, and home-centered.

Scouting develops habits and attitudes of good citizenship. It helps boys develop good character and grow spiritually.

ADVANCEMENT

Cub Scouting can be a continual source of fun and learning for each boy. The key to making it so is the advancement plan, which challenges the boy to meet certain requirements called achievements, electives and activity badges.

All boys new to the program, regardless of age, must complete the Bobcat requirements. When a boy is eight years old, he works on the Wolf achievements, and electives and earns the Wolf badge.

When a boy is nine years old, he works on the Bear achievements and electives and earns the Bear badge.

When a boy turns ten years old he comes a Webelos scouts and works on activity badges, and he earns the Webelos badge and the Arrow of Light Award.
